Annual New Works Exhibit at the JAX


The Jacksonville Center for the Arts presents its 11th Annual New Works Exhibit. This Hayloft Gallery exhibit will be on display through May 18th.

“New Works” showcases the work of 43 artists and includes over 80 pieces of artwork. The exhibit gives an opportunity for artists to exhibit their new work. All art has been created in the past year and has not been exhibited at The Jacksonville Center or elsewhere.

A “People’s Choice” award of $50 has been anonymously donated. The public will be invited to vote for their favorite piece. The winner will be announced after the end of the exhibit.

The 11th Annual New Works exhibit is sponsored by The Bank of Floyd.

The Jax is located at 220 Parkway Lane South in Floyd, ½ mile south of the stoplight on Route 8. “Winter” hours are Monday to Friday 10-3; Saturday 11-4; Closed on Sunday. The Jax will resume regular business hours on Sunday, May 5th. Regular hours are Monday to Saturday, 10-5pm and Sunday, 12-5.
